It is the first of three exams in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program, focusing on basic finance concepts, investment tools, ethical standards, and financial reporting fundamentals.
The Level I exam consists of 180 multiple-choice questions, split into two sessions (90 questions each). Total test time is 4 hours 30 minutes with an optional break between sessions.
